The Instituto Superior de Agronomia (ISA), School of Agriculture, organises next 25th-26th February the Cork iNet Interregional Workshop about Cork Oak Provenance trials in the Mediterranean basin, that will be carried out at Lisbon (Portugal).
In this meeting will also be presented the first results of the cork oak provenance trials network. These trials have now 21 years and it seems the right time to join efforts to reevaluate common objectives (e.g. trial maintenance, new measurements, data analysis). It will be a 2-day meeting, the first devoted to presentations about the trials and the respective first results (in the morning) and the discussion on the follow-up of the trials (in the afternoon). The second day will be a field trip to the Provenance/progeny trial at Monte Fava. In attached file we send you the draft program.
You are very welcome to participate on this meeting, but organisers need previous confirmarion, that must be sent by an email to Ágata Lam (alam@isa.ulisboa.pt) till next Friday (15thFebruary). Please inform which sessions you intend to attend, especially if you plan to participate in the field trip.
