A Mediterranean Partnership to improve and exchange scientific and practical knowledge on lentisk tree oil

INRGREF (Tunisia) and its five partners are pleased to announce the launch of MEDLENTISK project. Funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, this project aims to promote the exchange of good practices around the Mediterranean on the little-known lentisk tree and its vegetable oil. It is still produced in a traditional way, which influences the yield and quality of the extracted product. The composition and therapeutic virtues of this oil have also been little studied, even though this shrub is found throughout the Mediterranean area and seems to have significant qualities.

The Croatian Forest Research Institute shows its latest findings on hypogeous fungi in Varaždin region

Two Interregional Workshops were held from 10th till 12th of December 2019 in Varaždin, Croatia. The first one was from the Mushroom & Truffles iNet, while the second one was from the Aromatics & Medicinal Plants iNet.

Latest researches that Croatian Forest Research Institute are conducting on hypogeous fungi in Varaždin region, Croatia, resulted with finding of a big specie variety of hypogeous fungi. Since those researches attracted a big interest from the local community, City of Varaždin became a perfect place to promote the INCREDIBLE project.

ΣΧΕΤΙΚΑ ΜΕ ΤΟ ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑ

Το πρόγραμμα INCREdible στοχεύει στο να αναδείξει τρόπους με τους οποίους τα Μη Ξυλώδη Δασικά Προϊόντα (ΜΞΔΠ) μπορούν να παίξουν σημαντικό ρόλο στη στήριξη βιώσιμων πρακτικών διαχείρισης των δασικών πόρων, καθώς  και στην ανάπτυξη αγροτικών περιοχών, με τον σχηματισμό δικτύων μέσα από τα οποία μεταδίδονται και ανταλλάσσονται πληροφορίες και εμπειρίες. Το πρόγραμμα "Δίκτυα καινοτομίας για τον Φελλό, το Ρετσίνι και Εδώδιμα προϊόντα της Μεσογειακής Λεκάνης" (INCREdible) προωθεί την διατομεακή συνεργασία και καινοτομία, με σκοπό να αναδείξει την αξία και τη δυναμική των ΜΞΔΠ στην περιοχή.
