The European Forest Institute (EFI) [1], Cesefor Foundation [2], Luresa Resinas SL / Grupo RB and Alex Cunningham Limited are co-organizing under the INCREDIBLE Resins iNet the Interregional Workshop on innovative bio-based resin derivatives: Current trends and promising research opportunities for bio-based colophony, turpentine, CTO and CST derivatives. The workshop will be held online on 13-14 April 2021.
This workshop aims at showcasing that bio-based resin derivatives are green solutions with the potential of replacing fossil raw materials in industrial chemical production, for products such as plastics, adhesives, coatings, or fragrances. This event, held over two days, will act as a forum with key representatives of the industry and the research arena to identify enabling factors and critical barriers for bio-based resins as a sustainable alternative to fossil-based derivatives.
This event is addressed to primary and secondary processing industries, chemical equipment manufacturers, Colophony and turpentine derivatives consumers, certification and traceability entities, sectoral associations, government bodies and research organisations.
