Santiago Michavila Puente-Villegas, a Spanish PhD student from INIA [2] and ETSI de Montes of UPM [3], was selected as runner-up in the INCREDIBLE Knowledge Contest on NWFP [4] with his contribution, New drilling method for resin extraction in Segovia (Spain) [5]. 

Sondes Fkiri, a Tunisian researcher from the National Research Institute of Rural Engineering, Water and Forests (INRGREF) [11], was runner-up in the INCREDIBLE Knowledge Contest on NWFP [4] with an innovation entitled  A new technology of extracting the fixed (non-volatile) oil of Pistacia lentiscus for the benefit of rural women [12].

Tzoumakers [17], led by their community organiser Alexandros Pantazis, were the winners of the INCREDIBLE Knowledge Contest on NWFP [4], with an innovation entitled Cooperatively design and manufacture tools for small-scale agricultural production [18].

Successful exchange visits were awarded to the top innovators in the INCREDIBLE Knowledge Contest on NWFP [4], with the visits taking place earlier this year.
